Event Overview The 2017 Wallops Cyber Security Expo will held at this secure facility hosted by the Cybersecurity Services & Integration Division (CSID) under the Office of the Chief Information Officer. The Cybersecurity Services & Integration Division will be recruiting speakers to provide informational sessions on relevant Cyber issues. Industry exhibitors may sit in on the sessions. This event will be promoted to all NASA Cyber and IT-focused personnel, as well as the entire workforce at this location.

NASA Wallops Overview
Wallops Flight Facility, located on Virginia's Eastern Shore, was established in 1945 by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics as a center for aeronautic research. Today, Wallops is NASA's principal facility for management and implementation of suborbital research programs.
The research and responsibilities of Wallops Flight Facility are centered around providing a fast, low-cost, highly-flexible and safe response to meet the needs of the U.S. aerospace technology interests and science research. The 1,100 full-time civil service and contractor NASA Wallops employees act as a team to accomplish Wallops' critical missions.
Interagency, Industry and Educational Support
Other government agencies located at Wallops are the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport. Located nearby are the Marine Science Consortium, the National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Virginia Space Flight Academy. These agencies share resources to carry out their missions. NASA also opens its facilities to industry for space and aeronautics research. During the past 25 years, NASA Wallops has collaborated with more than 50 established and emerging aerospace companies.
