The theme for the 2017 Cyber Security Symposium will be: “Doing More with Less” and the three track titles are:
The Symposium will provide participants with information and resources on today's vulnerabilities, incidents, security lifecycle, risks and mitigations; it will also identify ways to work together and build a solid security foundation program to meet future challenges and trends in cyber security. The Cybersecurity Expo, running in conjunction to the Summit, will provide live demos and informational booths focused around the summit topics. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with government personnel and industry partners to discuss critical issues; exhibiting company representatives may attend sessions (space permitting).
USDA expects high attendance at this event to include senior executives, chief information officers (CIOs), information systems security program managers (ISSPMs), personnel from the USDA workforce, and Federal and industry partners. The target attendee audience both IT professionals and those non-IT professionals who are assigned IT security roles.

The Department of Agriculture Headquarters is located in Southwest downtown Washington DC, near the Smithsonian Institution. The event will take place on the first floor patio of the Jamie L. Whitten Federal Building, which is the USDA building adjacent to the National Mall area.
Please note - all exhibitor spaces are strictly table top displays. 10' backdrops will not be permitted.
From Maryland (Baltimore)/I-95 South:
From Virginia/Points South:
Take the Orange or Blue Line to the Smithsonian Station. The USDA Administration Building is across the street adjacent to the Mall. The Visitor’s entrance is on the Mall side of the building.
*Please note - Backdrops of any type are not permitted. You may only bring what fits on your table (strictly table top display).
Equipment unloading and visitor access to the USDA Headquarters Administration Building is via the Jefferson Drive entrance, which faces the Mall on the North Side of USDA Headquarters. The exhibit area (Patio) is directly behind this visitor entrance.
The USDA HQ building will not accept shipments prior to the conference. All display items must be brought in with your exhibit staff during the set up hours.
The Conference Breakout sessions will take place in the conference rooms just off the Patio where the Exhibit is being held.
