General Information
Approximately $2.5 billion is spent each year on computer hardware, software and services, networking, telecommunications, and IT at the Department of Commerce.
To help ensure that the Department's budget is wisely and appropriately used, the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) hosts an annual IT & Cybersecurity Awareness Day, featuring guest speakers from the global technology community, thought-provoking presentations and an exhibit hall.
This event is only open to federal agency employees and contractors, all of whom receive promotions about the event (FBC specifically targets all Department of Commerce HQ personnel, particularly those specializing in secure computing and related fields). The event attracts a broad audience throughout the Department of Commerce, its 12 bureaus and the surrounding agencies. Participating capability providers can expect about 150 attendees including personnel with titles such as: Security Specialist, Telecom Analyst, Program/Project Manager, Engineer and IT Specialist.
Exhibiting at IT & Cybersecurity Awareness Day at Department of Commerce is a great choice for industry partners seeking to get face-to-face time with OCIO personnel, increase brand visibility and build trust with an engaged IT audience. Exhibitors may attend the sessions.
See you there!
