FBC is pleased to announce the date for the 2nd annual technology and cybersecurity event at the National Renewable Energy Laboroatory (NREL). This year the event will focus on both Information Technology & Cybersecuirty for technologists, scientists, and lab support perosnnel. The event will take place on-site at NREL on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the San Juan Conference Rooms at the Research Support Facility. This one-day event will offer NREL employees the opportunity to learn about the latest cybersecurity trends, best practices, and remediation strategies from Subject Matter Expert (SME) speakers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view and demo some of the latest cybersecurity and IT products available today in the exhibit area. This event is being officially hosted by the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) - NREL. This is the only event that will take place at NREL in 2017. NREL develops clean energy and energy efficiency technologies and practices, advances related science and engineering, and provides knowledge and innovations to integrate energy systems at all scales. In FY 2015 NREL received 357 million in funding. Nearly 1,700 employees work at NREL with an additional 1,014 visiting researchers, postdoctoral students, interns, and contractors. Exhibit: Exhibit Space is limited to the first 20 companies. Showcase your products and/or services to this new and diverse audience. All cybersecurity and IT companies are encouraged to exhibit.
