The Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) – Las Vegas Chapter, with support from the 432d Wing, will host the 4th Annual Cyber Security, IT & Tactical Technology Day at Creech AFB on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. This is an excellent opportunity for technology, cybersecurity and tactical technology companies to meet with remote personnel at Creech AFB.This is the only event that will take place at Creech in 2017. About the AFCEA Las Vegas Chapter:
The Armed Forces Communications Association (AFCEA) Las Vegas Chapter. AFCEA is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. AFCEA chapters and sub-chapters give engineers, programmers, managers, government officials and military personnel continuing opportunities to exchange ideas about communications, intelligence, imaging and information systems technologies. Nearly one-half of AFCEA's chapters conduct symposia and seminars in addition to other chapter activities. The AFCEA Las Vegas chapter members, and chapter leaders, consist of Information Technology Officers' and personnel from Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, as well as industry partners.About Creech AFB:
Creech AFB, located 45 minutes NW of Nellis AFB and incorporates aircrew training and the supporting, directing, and coordination of combat sorties halfway across the world. The host unit at Creech is the 432d Wing, which has six operational squadrons and one maintenance squadron. Creech is the home to the famed "Hunters" of the 432d Wing and 432d Air Expeditionary Wing, the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper, which are unmanned aerial vehicles used regularly in Afghanistan and Iraq. The base is also home to the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Battlelab. The base also hosts the operations of the 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron and 99th Ground Combat Training Squadron, and those of the Air Force Reserve's 78th Reconnaissance Squadron and Nevada Air National Guard's 232d Operations Squadron.

For US Citizens: Effective July 21, 2014, under the REAL ID Act of 2005, agencies, including NIST, can only accept a state-issued driver’s license or identification card for access to federal facilities if issued by states that are REAL ID compliant or have an extension.

You will also have the option of downloading our printable security form and submitting the information by fax. Admittance to the event cannot be guaranteed if we do not receive the information by the due date.
Be prepared to show your current drivers’ license, proof of insurance and rental car agreement/or vehicle registration to the Gate Guard at the Commercial/Visitors Entrance and reference the "Technology Expo at the Guardian Dining Facility".
Exhibitors who fail to comply with the security requirements may be denied access to the event site by the hosting agency. FBC will not be responsible and will not provide refunds to exhibitors who are denied admission to or dismissed from the event site due to failure to comply with the security instructions.
Exhibiting companies may bring 2 on-site representative(s) to staff their exhibit booth.

Creech AFB is 1 mile northwest of the community of Indian Springs, Nev., and about 50 miles northwest of the city of Las Vegas (approximately 1 hour drive from Las Vegas, NV
* Take the I-15 North to Exit 42A
* Take Exit 42A to merge onto US-95 N toward Reno (stay on US-95 N for approximately 45 miles)
* Turn right when you see signs for the Commercial/Visitors Entrance. (If you come to the small town of Indian Springs you have gone too far)
* Be prepared to show your current drivers’ license, proof of insurance and rental car agreement/or vehicle registration to the Gate Guard at the Commercial/Visitors Entrance and reference the "Technology Expo at the Guardian Dining Facility".
** The roads at Creech AFB are not marked on the part of the base we will be accessing. Maps will be e-mailed out to all participants the week prior to the event and distributed at the Nellis event.
* Once on base follow the access road until you reach the roundabout in front of the 432WG HQ Building. Make the first right turn off the roundabout and the Guardian Dining Facility, Building 1210 will be the first building on your left with the large parking lot across the street.
* Park in the parking lot.
Public transportation such as taxis or Uber will not be allowed to access Creech AFB.
Equipment can be wheeled in from the parking lot across from the Dining Facility.
Dress Code: The suggested dress code for this event is business casual.
